I am a Hispanic 18 year old male senior at Lyons Township high school. the sports at the school felt like the coaches had their favorites. It felt as though the people who have played together since they were kids were looked at more often and played more due to the chemistry they had even though they weren't the best. This made sports very not enjoyable. The pricing for food had also made my high school experience bad. My mother didn't make enough money for me to buy lunch from school everyday and she didn't make low enough for lunch to be provided to me. The school did not take into account the situations going on inside my house and for that I went a lot of my 4 years without eating lunch. I would like to see things like that change for the future students who also struggle.

I had a good experience at Lyons Township. I had help whenever I needed it, I feel like the curriculum is good and the teachers are great for the most part. The school could be better in terms of modernization as well as making things easier for the students for things such as purchasing lunch and parking space. I feel that school should also press community service because it will be very useful in college.

Lyons Township is a school I will hold in my heart. I have had so many incredible memories here, with teachers and students. With sports and clubs I have always felt right at home!

2 of my 3 children have graduated from LT and 1 will start there soon. The ones who have gone to LT have found it to be challenging, supportive, full of caring teachers and staff, and a HUGE number of classes to choose from. They have gone on to be successful in college and ultimately that's what th...

This school was rated 10/10 but has now dropped to 7/10. Why has it dropped? It is because the school now allows students to redo assignments and tests until they get the grade they want. Students have their phones in classes and can look up answers during exams and do not have to do work if they do...

I attended LT and loved my experience there. Now my son is a freshman and is really excited about classes that he wasn’t before. He really likes most of his teachers and says they are helpful and supportive. LT offers a lot of class options and I feel is geared towards individual exploration of inte...
