In my experience with midlothian highschool , I'd say it's an okay school. There are many teachers who do know what they are teaching and know how to work with each student. On the other hand there are many teachers that I have had who don't make learning easy. Some of my best experiences and memories of High school come from The arts department , as that is where I feel like I can be myself and not judged. Some of the worst parts of my high school experience is the students. They all vary from each clique, which makes it easy to tell, who fits in with whom. A lot of students make it hard to learn and want to come to school. I also don't like how unserious drill get taken, especially lock downs by both students and teachers.

The best part of being a student at Midlothian High School is the community and opportunities they have available for everyone. I would like the club meetings to change so they can accommodate for tech center students.

Midlothian is a great school that I feel has mentally and educationally prepared me for the coming years in college, however the lack of diversity within the student body may affect the experience for some. The arts departments and teachers are wonderful here at Midlo.

In my experience with three kids at this school. I’m not sure how they have more than a star. The bullying is outrageous , the lack of administrative support for parent or child is ridiculous. If you have special needs kids don’t be fooled and don’t sign away rights on an IEP. Advocating is challeng...

I have had both my sons at Midlothian High School. The school is run FANTASTICALLY. Dr. Shawn Abel, the principal is highly engaged. Both of my kids have had thoroughly enjoyed the high school and all of the ancillary activities and programs. Covid year was rough, but the rest was outstanding.
