This is a great school but there is always a need for improvement. The school culture has improved but it could be better. The community involvement could be better as well. Mountainair offers numerous opportunities for students to be college ready and excel after high school.

This school has all of the wonderful features of small town living. I have a close relationship with all of my teachers and find working on assignments easier that I know my instructors. I'd like to see more teachers stay at our school, seeing as I've had multiple history teachers(4) this making it harder to learn. Without that I believe my school would be fantastic and perfect.

I feel schools including ours should be more strict and disciplined. There should be consequences for students actions. I believe the lack of discipline had created a higher lack of disrespect between students and teachers.
