GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Dwyer is a great school to be zoned for and I had a great time there. The diversity meant that there was many different options for clubs and organizations as well there was an intresting blend of cultures at the school. That said as a student who was left behind because of poor planing and limmited parental oversight I had a rather difficult time. There were not options that I knew about for academic help and I struggled because of it. I would like to see an emphasis on acedemics promoted for the school rather than being a side thought.

Its... fine. For a public school, it's pretty good- good lunch, fairly good programs(I personally recommend the culinary program; it's just the one elective course each year, very fun), sports do well. I know my experiences were a bit of an outlier all things considered, but like the mental health department is super underfunded, its just like 3 people, granted they work their butts off each day dealing with close to 2500 kids, but still. A wider problem with the school system is that far less kids are expelled now a days, to keep the persona of a good school, effectively only looking good for the reports, but make no mistake this school is run by the students, their is very little respect between staff and students. Some of the staff are... very questionable and idk how they got the job, but ig that's average. but, ig most of these can be blamed on the funding :/

At William T. Dwyer, I learned to grow as I move from a more younger age to beginning adulthood or my young adult life. I was very active in their extracurriculars such as cheerleading and being apart of The Track and Field Team. At Dwyer, the coaching in general, and their athletic system can be biased towards their athletes, and seem unfair which Dwyer should work on. The academics were good and challenged students educationally.

Dwyer High School should have a higher rating in my opinion. My child just completed the 9th grade and he absolutely loves Dwyer. He was pleased with all but one of his teachers, and I do understand his reasons, but overall he and I both think they’re doing a great job. They have really good sports...

This school is wonderful! The principal is very good at communicating every week with the parents, the teachers are all very kind and love their jobs. Of all the Gardens/Jupiter area I recommend Dwyer. My son loved it!

The experience your child will have at this school will be on a case-by-case basis. Despite being admitted to many schools, my child wanted to go here because of the large size. As a parent, this school offers options for AP, AICE and IB, so if your child walks into this school serious about their f...

It's a great school if your child plans to pursue a career as a street fighter or boxer. The fights are frequent and brutal as staff are slow or afraid to intervene. I have a video of one such fight that became criminal, yet the police were not called. The school seems to be overcrowded this year an...
