La Salle College Preparatory is a private co-ed Catholic high school in Lower Hastings. The school's programs are focused on preparing students for college, and its curriculum is based on the teachings of Saint John Baptist de La Salle. It is a part of a network of Lasallian Schools, which prioritize student relationships, academic achievement and spirituality as the essential foundation for education and interpersonal relationships.
La Salle College Preparatory is known for its athletics and arts programs. It offers STEAM programs, including 4-year studies in film production and a closed-circuit broadcast created by and for La Salle students. More than 60% of La Salle High's students participate in athletics programs, including cross country track, golf, tennis, football, dance, swimming and water polo.

At La Salle, I was able to find people who have supported me. From great friends to teachers and staff helping me whenever I asked, each person contributed to a sense of community within the school.

It's good. The teachers are dedicated, especially those belonging to the science and English departments from my experience. However, I would hope to incorporate better rules and a more involved community.

Dandy: One who places particular importance upon appearance, who strives to imitate an aristocratic lifestyle despite coming from a middle-class background. My own experience includes being gawked at by a young Christian Brother. I'm told they continue to have issues with young faculty.
