As a hebrew day school, there was not enough time dedicated to what would be considered "secular" studies. Entering college I felt wholly unprepared in many aspects of my education. Furthermore, this school does not offer any extra curricular activities and as such, my resume was lacking as was my knowledge of various career paths.

Secular school counsellor, academic and extracurricular support for students, and a friendlier, less hostile, more diverse environment. Not one non-white student in the high school, no openly LGBT+ students, I believe due to an undercurrent of a lack of acceptance/support. Kids are not given the academic structures to matriculate into the modern world - the school acts as though it is still the 1950's
