The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

SAHS has been a wonderful school for my children. Great academics and great teachers. The music department is well above what I have seen at other schools. Althetics is amazing, Cross Country/Track and Field in particular. Only thing I would change would be the cafeteria food options. Not good.

In my experience with Souderton Area Hs, I have enjoyed all of the class options we have and the access to counselors and people who help us get ready for college at all times. The classes are just difficult enough and there's not many bad teachers. I've enjoyed my time here but due to the amount of people sometimes it's hard to find your right group of people.

I had a pretty sweet time here, my only real complaint is that they tabled war stories which is a load of bologna. Maybe some more classes oriented towards college (I say as I'm in financial algebra which is pretty ironic) and like what we're gonna do when we get outta here, but really there's a very wide array of classes and teachers and experiences here and I reckon I was pretty damn lucky to have a school like this

It’s a nice environment, teachers are always helping student out, making sure they understand. A lot of fights sometimes happen as well, but they’re always taken care of quickly.
