When it comes to living at Henley on Hudson in Weehawken, N.J., it’s all about the expansive views of the Hudson River and the New York City skyline, says Jessica Williams, a real estate agent at Christie’s International Real Estate Group of Hoboken, N.J.
“The residents like the location, the view. It’s so relaxing,” Williams says.
Henley on Hudson is a lowrise condominium complex of four and six story buildings with 201 units, located just off the Hudson River. Weehawken, north of Hoboken, has become a popular area for people seeking urban living with the conveniences of suburban amenities, Williams says.
“You get a sense of suburb and a sense of city living,” Williams says.
Residents at Henley on Hudson also have access to hotel-like amenities.
The club room is a party space that allows residents to host events. There are three fitness centers with the latest equipment and a yoga room. There is an outdoor lounge area with a pool, also with Manhattan views. A theater room is a place for residents to enjoy their favorite movies on the big screen. The children’s room provides indoor play space.
Concierge services are available with a variety of personalized services including package pick up. Private parking in a garage is provided.
High-end luxury living

The appliances are all high-end with quartz countertops in the kitchens. There are walk-in closets and recessed lighting throughout. Many of the units have water views or partial views, Shin adds. The outdoor space features landscaped gardens.
It also features a sleek contemporary aesthetic with 6-inch white oak flooring throughout and custom lighting to complement the interior.
Residents love living there because it’s a very family friendly building, Williams says. There’s great diversity at the complex, from people with young children to empty nesters, she adds. It is also pet friendly.
Parking is a major selling point when it comes to Weehawken condos, the agent adds.
The residences at Henley on Hudson range from 1,457 to 2,040 square feet, providing ample space for a variety of lifestyles. The townhouse units goes up to 4,000 square feet.
Pricing at Henley on Hudson varies depending on the size of the unit and whether it has waterfront views.
A three-bedroom penthouse with a view sold in September 2024 for $3 million, while a two-bedroom unit without a waterfront view sold for $965,000 September 2024. Williams sold a townhouse unit for $4.9 million in 2023.
The Weehawken area has seen a resurgence in real estate demand, Williams says.
“After the pandemic, there was a slowdown in buying,” William says, explaining buyers were looking to suburbs. “Now, more people are coming here because they want to be close to the city.”
A quick trip into Manhattan
The location is the key reason people choose Henley on Hudson, both real estate agents say. Weehawken offers easy access to Manhattan, making it an attractive option for those who want to live near the city but prefer a quieter, suburban lifestyle, according to Shin.
“That area is very special,” she says. “It only takes 10 to 15 minutes to get to New York City.”
Indeed, Henley on Hudson is right near the Lincoln Tunnel and near the ferry for easy transportation into Manhattan. And it is also close to uptown Hoboken, Williams says.
“People looking in Jersey City and Hoboken saw the views in Weehawken and decided to move,” Williams says.
