A full-service, postwar condominium with renovated units
A fixture of Lenox Hill for nearly 50 years, The Concorde stands as a full-service condominium offering 281 residences ranging from studios to spacious five bedrooms. Completed in 1978, this rental-to-condo conversion offers diverse living spaces for those seeking an Upper East Side address with white-glove concierge service, a full-time doorperson, and a sunlit indoor pool. Plus, the 26-story building is known for having plenty of amenities and services all in one place. “We have exceptional service, and an amazing, central location,” says Asher Alcobi, CEO and president of Peter Ashe Real Estate, who has been selling units in The Concorde for 25 years. “For being in New York, it’s a very quiet building. It’s unusual for a large building to be in between avenues, so it’s not exposed to noise. And we get a lot of natural light all day long,” he adds. The building’s double-height, wood-clad lobby features golden chandeliers and a regal feel, and residents can access three elevators to reach their home.
Updated residences with price points starting just under $1 million
Units range from one-bedrooms starting around $849,000 for approximately 600 square feet to five-bedrooms currently listing for $6.7 million for roughly 3,000 square feet. While each unit is unique, buyers can expect renovated interiors with a modern aesthetic, including large windows to let in natural light and high-quality finishes. Some units also have balconies overlooking the cityscape. Studios are available, but are rare to come to market, with price points ranging anywhere between $585,000 and $685,000 in recent years. Two-bedrooms start around $1.5 million for roughly 850 square feet, and three-bedrooms can list for $2.5 million. Some buyers have also combined units for more expansive living spaces, and the building allows rentals and sublets.
Renovated heated pool, gym and spacious sun deck
One of the best perks of this Lenox Hill address is the newly remodeled, heated indoor pool. The slanted, glass roof lets in gorgeous light onto the pool area, complete with oversized plants and lounge chairs. “The pool was recently opened four months ago. It went under massive renovation, which is completed now. It’s open year-round. We also have three rooftops and they’re in the process of being renovated, too,” says Alcobi. Residents can access the roof deck with outdoor seating areas and umbrellas. On the ground floor, there’s a walled-in garden for privacy, creating a sanctuary feel within the bustle of the city, as well as a cascading, 12-foot water feature. For more wellness, the health club can be accessed on the top floor and features a renovated gym, sauna and massage room. “We have a storage unit in the building, a bicycle room, and a children’s playroom. We also have a tailor and dry cleaning service in the building for residents only. And a common laundry room, as well,” says Alcobi. And for an extra deposit of $1,000 per year, those with furry friends may delight in knowing the building is also pet-friendly.
Proximity to fine dining, upscale shops and waterfront greenspaces
As one of Manhattan’s coveted residential neighborhoods, Lenox Hill offers proximity to the attractions of Midtown, the East River Waterfront Esplanade and expansive green space at Central Park. A few avenues west of The Concorde, residents can enjoy shopping at 75 Rockefeller Plaza and the upscale retailers along 5th Avenue, nearby. For fine dining, there’s the two-Michelin-starred restaurant Daniel within walking distance, as well as more casual, family-style spots like Tony's Di Napoli right down the street. Residents rarely have to venture far from the neighborhood to access basic necessities: Grace’s Marketplace, Morton Williams Supermarket and Target Grocery are all within a few blocks of the building.
Several subway lines close by
Centrally located to several transportation hubs, residents can access the F or Q trains at the nearby Lexington Avenue/63rd Street station, as well as the N, Q and R trains at 72nd Street. The 4, 5 and 6 trains are also available a few blocks south at the 59th Street station. LaGuardia Airport is under 10 miles away or roughly a 30-minute drive, depending on traffic, and the private circular driveway of the building allows for a seamless departure, making it an ideal spot for frequent travelers.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
