Convenience stores cover basics, but larger grocery trips mean a 17-mile drive to Tops Friendly Markets. Indian Lake Central School serves pre-kindergarten through 12th grade with small class sizes and a range of clubs and sports. Residents rely on cars, using state routes 26 and 30 to reach Glens Falls, about 52 miles away, and Albany International Airport, about 100 miles south. Heavy rain can bring flooding concerns around the area’s many lakes.
