Addison is a village home to roughly 35,000 people, giving it the activity of a smaller town away from the bustle of the neighboring Windy City. Addison's residents are just a few minutes from shopping centers, parks and dining opportunities. In addition to providing resources like a library system, the village also organizes community events. “Addison really strives to keep the condition of town nice,” says Anna Giacone, a local Realtor with RE/MAX Liberty. “I’ve raised four children here; they’re all adults now and don’t want to go anywhere else.”
When residents want to leave Addison, the community’s central location is not far from a Metra station or Chicago O’Hare International Airport. Industry is also abundant with top employers like the United Postal Service and Corporate headquarters for companies like The Pampered Chef and restaurant equipment distributor Parts Town.
