A Northeast Heights neighborhood near retail centers
Arroyo del Oso North, which means "Canyon of the Bear," in Spanish, is close to a golf course and a park of the same name. This small residential neighborhood is part of Albuquerque's Northeast Heights, an area sought after for well-regarded schools, various shopping and home options and proximity to the Sandia Mountains. Sunrises over the Sandias to the east and sunsets on the west add to the area's ambiance. To the west is Interstate 25, for convenient commuting and travel. Shopping centers are also nearby, some even within walking distance for many residents. "If you are the type who likes to have access to those amenities via walking or biking, you can do that," says Torie Robinson, owner/broker with Re/Max Elevate.
