Dining in Arlington Heights can be like traveling to other parts of the world without leaving the neighborhood. “There’s a diverse collection of restaurants nearby,” LoSavio says. “From authentic Chinese to Eastern European, they’re all represented.” Asian Bistro focuses on spicy dishes from China's Szechuan province. Qulinarnia is a few miles east on Golf Road in neighboring Mount Prospect, specializing in Polish food. Retail overload is about 3 miles away at Woodfield Mall, with over 230 stores, in nearby Schaumburg. Jewel-Osco and Meijer are grocery stores that are both within a short drive.

A neighborhood school and an A-plus-rated Rolling Meadows High School
Juliette Low Elementary is part of the Arlington Heights School District 25 and gets a C-plus rating on Niche. Some middle school students attend Holmes Junior High School in the Community Consolidated School District 59 in Mount Prospect. This school is rated a B with a 10-to-1 student-teacher ratio. While driving to the Arlington Heights Metra station two miles north is an option for commuters, it’s about a mile and a half to get on Interstate 90. The interstate leads to O’Hare International Airport in about 10 miles. Downtown Chicago is another 15 miles away. The Pace suburban bus line has multiple stops on Golf Road and serves the area around Woodfield Mall. Endeavor Health Northwest Community Hospital, the area's largest medical center, is about a mile north of the neighborhood.
