Established neighborhood with a public library
Just 10 miles from the center of Downtown Arlington, the quiet community of Arlington Meadows offers modest prices, suburban comfort and a touch of nature. “This is a pretty affordable area compared to Arlington and the Metroplex as a whole,” says Blake Burtis, a local real estate agent with Rogers Healy and Associates who has sold extensively in the area. The neighborhood also contains a section of one of the city's two dog parks, as well as the Fish Creek Trail. Arlington is largely vehicle-reliant, and although the neighborhood itself is walkable, getting anywhere around the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex will require a car. The Arlington Public Library - Southeast Branch is next to the dog park in the south of the community. The Arlington Municipal Airport – as the northeastern border – acts as a reliever airport, providing space for corporate, cargo and recreational pilots.
Cravens Park is a haven for family fun and competitiveness in Arlington meadows.

Brick façade mainly on ranch-styles
The neighborhood was primarily built in the late 1990s. Most homes feature brick facades of varying shades, from sand-colored washes to rich red with dark accents. Large front windows are common on the Colonial Revival-style homes that rise above nearby trees with multiple steep front gables and arched entrances. Prices range from $384,000 to $420,000. There is also a collection of ranch-style homes, and most properties include a prominent driveway and garage. Prices for single-story homes range from $384,000 to $420,000, “but you still get three or four bedrooms and at least 1,500 square feet of space, so it’s a great deal,” Burtis adds. With spacious lots, many homes have backyard pools. There are plenty of mature trees offering shady pockets along the sidewalks that line the streets.
No short of housing variety to meet you family needs in Arlington Meadows.

Students residing in Fairfield may attend Bebensee Middle School.
Students attend Bebenesse or Williams Elementary
Most students can attend Bebenesse Elementary School, but north of Green Oaks Boulevard, children can attend Williams Elementary School. Both schools receive a C-plus grade from Niche and are for kindergarteners through sixth grade. Ousley Junior High School, for seventh and eighth grade, receives a B-plus. Seguin High School earns a B-minus from Niche and is the most recently built high school in the district. In addition to offering Advanced Placement and dual-credit courses with Tarrant College, Seguin has a dedicated Go-Center, which offers support, counseling and study aids for students interested in attending college. If traditional school isn't a good fit, students can attend the alternative Venture High School – which earns a C-plus from Niche – where they benefit from smaller class sizes and specialized lesson plans.
Trail through the south to a dog park
Right down the street is the 80-acre Cravens Park, with basketball courts and a pond. Fishing is allowed in the pond. Children can play on the colorful playground, which includes sensory elements like drums. Sunshades keep the playground cool in the summer. Following Fish Creek Trail east leads to the Tails ‘N Trails Dog Park, an almost 6-acre space with off-leash areas for dogs of all sizes. As one of only two public dog parks in Arlington, the park is a top destination for residents from all over the city. Many visitors enjoy photographing their furry friends in front of the artfully painted Texas star that brightens the grounds. Next to the dog park is the Arlington Public Library – Southeast Branch, first opened in 2003.

Two miles to chain stores along Green Oaks
While there are a few shopping centers nearby, the area is primarily residential. Following Green Oaks Boulevard a mile west leads to Marlock Oaks Crossing, home to Indo Pak World Market, which specializes in East Asian cuisine. Across the road is Dollar General and Braum’s Ice Cream & Dairy Store, which sells fresh milk and cheese. Further west along the street are Kroger and Kohl’s. About a mile south from the neighborhood is a Walmart Neighborhood Market. If not in the mood for cooking, Al Rayan Kabab & Gyro sells fragrant, authentic Mediterranean dishes.

Highways to north and east with municipal airport as border
Arlington has no public transportation system, making the area heavily car dependent. Sidewalks line the neighborhood, and trails connect some of the parks and green spaces. Schools are within 3 miles of the neighborhood. Interstate 20 is about 3 miles north and the Texas 360 Toll Road is a little more than 2 miles east. Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is about 18 miles north, with Arlington Municipal Airport basically acting as the northeastern border of Arlington Meadows. Medical City Arlington is 3 miles north.
Craft nights for families and sports to the north
The Arlington Public Library – Southeast Branch offers classes for residents of all ages, including a Family Craft Night every other Monday. “Being removed from all the action can be a draw for some homebuyers, but you’ll still be within half an hour of almost everything,” Burtis says. There are several NFL stadiums within 10 miles, including Choctaw Stadium and AT&T Stadium. Downtown Arlington is 7 miles north.
GreatSchools:
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

We have lived in Arlington Meadows for 27 years. We know every neighbor and remember all who have moved away. This is a very nice gathering of neighbors. It's very quiet here, tranquil greetings come from all, as we walk our little dog. We highly recommend any one to bring their family and join our friends in Arlington Meadows.
