Buyers can choose between condominiums and new traditional single-family homes in Four Points. There are also multiple gated communities within the neighborhood. “There’s a broad spectrum. It’s predominantly a few master planned communities, but there’s definitely a few places without a HOA, and there’s lakefront properties,” Smyser says. For example, a home in the gated Preserve at Four Points community can cost anywhere from $630,000 for three bedroom, two bath properties up to $1 million for homes on oversized lots. There are an abundance of condominium units as well, many of which sell between $300,000 and $400,000.

Getting to the swimming areas of the waterfront park take some caution due to a steep and rocky path down, but for an easy trek to the lake, Bob Wentz Park is also 5 miles away. Ranch to Market 2222 leads straight to Downtown Austin, set 14 miles away from Four Points. This main thoroughfare also leads to the Texas 360 and 1 Loop, which are used by commuters to get around the Austin area. Residents won't have to travel downtown to get medical care with Family Hospital at Lake Travis about 2 miles away. The neighborhood itself is very walkable with sidewalks lining most streets, but there is no mass transit in the area so residents do need to have their own cars if they want to venture around the area.
