With luxury properties, scenic marina vistas and a wealth of amenities, you can have it your way when living in The Waterways. Ana Aizenstat, a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Realty, says, “Living in this community is like living in a vacation every day.” She adds, “The proximity to the marina, walking distance to shops, restaurants and the security of many of the housing options makes it one of the nicest communities in the area.” The real estate landscape throughout the area is dominated by luxury high-rise condominiums that are available for purchase, with prices ranging from a cozy 2-bedroom unit for $525,000 to a luxury penthouse suite that can cost up to $4.3 million. You can find a luxury town house at The Courtyard at the Point community, many of which come with spacious floor plans and enclosed garages.

There are plenty of places around if you want to get out for some fresh air. Aizenstat also says, “The beach is very close, you’re often only about 10 minutes away from the boardwalk,” with residents just minutes away from Loggia Beach Park. However, there are options close by, like the expansive 7-acre Waterways Park. The shaded playground area is great for a weekend outing with the kids, with several play structures that’ll keep them entertained for hours. You can get your steps in for the day along the fitness trail, which has two exercise stations. Dog parents can take their pups to make new friends at the Waterways Dog Park.

One of the many advantages of living in the community is the proximity to the many eateries and shopping options in the Waterways Shoppes. You can start your morning with a power smoothie or an espresso from Cafe Cafe. The shopping center has several dining options, whether you’re in the mood for falafel at Levy’s Shawarma or pasta at The Pulse. After a meal, make sure to get a sweet treat from Zohar’s Gelato. There are several shops in the center, as well, including Sarah’s Tent, which has a wide selection of kosher grocery items. Residents are also just minutes away from the Aventura Commons shopping center, which features several big box retailers and chain eateries.

Though there are many nearby conveniences and amenities, if you need to commute or want to head to Miami for the day, you have both Biscayne Boulevard and I-95 nearby. There are also public transportation options nearby, as well.

Parents in the area will likely start their children’s academic journey at the Aventura Waterways K-8 Center in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools district. Students can receive homework help through the Pop N’ Prep program, and they can also use the school’s mental health resources available in several languages. Students will then likely attend Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School, which has a B+ rating from Niche and boasts a 94 percent graduation rate and 97 percent of the graduating class attending a two-year or four-year university.

The Waterways neighborhood gives its residents world-class amenities with an excellent view.

We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
