Brimhall Estates offers homebuyers more bang for the buck. “People in neighborhoods as close as five miles away are paying more for the same-sized homes and lots,” says Gary Carruosco, a Realtor with Brimhall Realty, who has been selling homes in the area for nearly a decade. This neighborhood is in the Northwest area of Bakersfield, California, and offers larger homes on sprawling lots. “This neighborhood offers anything buyers would want in a custom home,” he explains.
Brimhall features numerous homes with three-car garages, the third of which faces outward.

Homes in Brimhall Estates cost between $419,000 and $912,000 and the dwelling size averages 2,619 square feet. Lot sizes are roughly 11,325 square feet, with plenty of room for a pool and a guest house. “Pools are a must-have in Brimhall Estates,” Carruosco says. The custom and semi-custom homes in the neighborhood were built between 1992 and 2001 and there are more than 225 houses in the community. Many of the homes have three-car garages. Soaring mature palm and redwood trees adorn the lush lawns, making daily strolls on the neighborhood’s sidewalks picturesque.

Schools that serve Brimhall Estates are highly rated
Independence Elementary School and Rosedale Middle School are where children in the neighborhood can attend. Both schools have an A-minus rating from Niche. Liberty High School, which opened in 1999, is ranked by Niche an A. There is a 27-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio at the school. There are over 2,100 students at the school. Liberty High has a very competitive football team — the Patriots boast an overall record of 155–59, and two former players, Jordan Love and Krys Barnes, who were teammates on the 2015 Valley Championship winners, are currently teammates on the National Football League’s Green Bay Packers. There are eight institutions of higher learning, including California State University, Bakersfield and Bakersfield College.
Rosedale Middle School serves 7th and 8th grade.
Independence Elementary School, in Bakersfield, resides in the Country Rose neighborhood.
Liberty High School has a 27:1 teacher to student ratio.

The 13 eateries include Marmalade Café, a California-inspired bistro. The mall is also great to take the kids to see Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny.
