A lakefront suburb with access to Seattle and Redmond
The suburb of Enatai offers upscale housing, fine dining options, big-box retail and public greenspaces along Lake Washington. “Enatai has far more waterfront access and park space per capita than nearby neighborhoods like Clyde Hill, Yarrow Point and Medina,” says Realtor Kelly Sublett, a lifelong Enatai resident who sells houses in the area for Windermere Real Estate. She has sold homes in the neighborhood since 1990. Enatai’s highly rated public schools are also a significant draw for homebuyers with families or those preparing to start families. Many residents commute to Downtown Seattle or Redmond, which each have thriving tech industries. Seattle also offers entertainment options, like professional sports teams. “There is very little turnover because the area is so sought-after, and once people buy a home in Enatai, they are pretty much here to stay,” Sublett says.

Getting around Bellevue and Seattle
People can catch the train at South Bellevue station to Downtown Bellevue, Mercer Island and Seattle. “Most of the homebuyers don’t really use the light rail. That is not a draw," Clapp says.
