Bungalows from the 1920s, '30s and '40s

Homes in Bell are mostly bungalows built between the 1920s and 1940s, with recessed front entryways and Spanish-style influences like barrel tile roofs and stucco facades in warm colors. Big front windows let in natural light and small front porches provide just enough space to visit with a friend. Lot sizes can run small, but there’s still plenty of room for a grassy front yard landscaped with drought-resistant plants. While most homes have garages, the streets are wide enough for parking, and sidewalks are plentiful, perfect for a trip to the corner store or a simple afternoon stroll. Prices range from $420,000 for 760 square feet to $945,000 for 1,200 square feet.
