Bridle Trails is one of the most affluent neighborhoods in the area, so multimillion-dollar homes are the norm. Homebuyers can expect custom-built homes, estates and mansions priced from $1.2 million to $7.3 million.
The neighborhoods stands out as a low-density in terms of single-family residential. "Many houses here have large lots, and they have more privacy than a lot of neighboring places," says Dana Johnston, a broker with Windermere Real Estate. Johnston has been a Realtor since 1998. Some properties come with more than an acre of land.
On the eastern side of Bridle Trails, close to Redmond's Microsoft campus, there are collections of condos, typically one- or two-bedrooms, priced from $370,000 to $600,000. Some communities, like the resort-style Sixty-01 Village, are gated and include amenities like pools, racquetball courts, clubhouses and more. Homeowners association fees run from about $350 to $800.

Bridle Trails State Park, Bellevue Golf Course
A highlight of the area is the 489-acre Bridle Trails State Park, which has 28 miles of multiuse trails for hikers and horse riders. Visitors might go on guided nature walks or animal tracking expeditions. Lake Washington Saddle Club makes use of the arenas located in the park.

Bellevue or Lake Washington school districts
Students living in the southern portion of Bridle Trails may attend public schools within Bellevue School District, named the top school district in the state by Niche. A-grade schools include Cherry Crest Elementary and Odle Middle. High schools include A-grade Sammamish Senior High, which is zoned for most addresses in Bridle Trails. A small area in the southeast part of Bridle Trails is designated for Interlake Senior High, A-plus. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue facilitates Right at School, before- and after-school programs held at the schools. Pricing is based on the number of days per week a student attends.
Most of the northern part of Bridle Trails is zoned for Lake Washington School District, No. 3 in the state. Students may attend A-grade schools Ben Franklin Elementary and Rose Hill Middle, with Stella Schola Middle on the same campus. Stella Schola is one of the district's Choice Schools. Open to district-wide but limited enrollment, Choice Schools are known for rigorous academics, cohort-style groupings, and strong science and math curriculums. Lake Washington High also has an A grade.
Among the many private schools in the area, two in Bridle Trails are Living Montessori Academy and The Little School, which goes up to Grade 5.
Sammamish Senior High School is where students gain access to knowledge and find their passions.

Bellevue and Redmond retail, Microsoft HQ
A retail pocket south of 24th Street includes a number of stores and an assortment of cafes and eateries such as Amoré Coffee, El Rinconsito Bellevue and Amulya Indian Cuisine. On the other side of state Route 520, there's a large supply of stores in Bel-Red and Overlake.
It's not far to Bellevue's The Shops at the Bravern, with 20 stores and restaurants. Redmond Town Center shopping mall has two levels, housing over a hundred shops and about 20 restaurants.

State Route 520, interstates nearby
State Route 520 can be used to get to Downtown Seattle, only about 14 miles away. Interstate 405 runs north-to-west and leads to Interstate 90, another route to Seattle. On I-405 headed south, it's approximately a 20-mile drive to Sea-Tac, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
Though King County Metro buses do not run on neighborhood streets, some stops are found along the periphery. Destinations like Redmond or the Bellevue Transit Center will have additional route options, including RapidRide line B. South Kirkland Park & Ride, east of I-405, has over 780 parking spaces as well as bicycle lockers.
