Outdoors in Belton

The outdoors is easily accessible in Belton. Memorial Park is the town's most popular and largest green space . It's the city's crowning municipal achievement, with over $4.5 million donated from the citizenry for renovations and improvements to the park. It’s home to a lake, grassy fields and baseball diamonds. Plenty of sports memories have been memorialized over the years at Memorial Park. Memorial Park also have its own waterpark, complete with a looping slide and splash-zone. Schools around Belton

Public institutions are served by Belton School District #124, which operates six elementary schools, two middle schools, and the main high school. Most kids in the area start at Kentucky Trail Elementary, which receives an overall B-minus on Niche. The final step in primary education happens at Belton High, which has a B rating on Niche and offers hands-on career internships through the Academies of Belton. Students fluent in two languages can also obtain an official Missouri Seal of Biliteracy before graduation. Students also enjoy a variety of clubs at Belton High, like the robotics club and a theatre program.
