Waterfront community with access to Beverly Harbor
With stately homes tucked alongside miles of sandy beaches along Beverly Harbor, Beverly Cove offers a slice of waterfront living on the North Shore. “Beverly Cove is a very beautiful residential and coastal enclave,” says Marianne Round, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty with over 20 years of experience in the industry. “The cove encompasses several small beaches and is within easy walking distance to the thriving downtown area.” Public spaces like Dane Street Beach are popular destinations for swimming, while the shops, restaurants and theaters of downtown Beverly are about 2 miles east. In addition to its natural beauty and central location, the neighborhood is zoned for top-rated Beverly Public Schools. “Beverly is popular among a wide range of families and professionals who are attracted to its sophisticated vibe, recreational and artistic attractions and public and private schools,” Round says. Residents also have access to Boston, which is about a 25-mile drive or a 45-minute train ride away.

The cove offers historic Colonials and custom-built estates
Homes in Beverly Cove reflect the neighborhood’s coastal setting. Historic Colonials date to the early 1700s, and many properties maintain their original charm with wood-burning fireplaces, cobblestone driveways and exposed brick walls that are now complemented by modern amenities. Homebuyers will also find Colonial Revivals, Cape Cod and ranch-style homes built throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. Manicured lawns average a quarter-acre, while custom-built estates offer larger lots with up to several acres of land. Home prices typically range from $675,000 for smaller Cape Cod-style houses to $1.4 million for larger Colonial Revivals. Custom-built properties are more expensive, selling for $1.1 million to $2.4 million. There’s also a colonial-style townhouse development with units selling for $430,000 to $480,000. Beverly Cove is considered a desirable location, and homes tend to sell after less than two weeks on the market.
