A short drive from Alabama Adventure & Splash Adventure

Softball or baseball players can head to Rock Creek Ball Park, which has four lighted ball fields that the Rock Creek Youth Baseball League frequently uses. Nearby, Hueytown Parks and Recreation has playgrounds and shady green spaces. Alabama Adventure & Splash Adventure is an expansive water park 13 miles east of Rock Creek, featuring a wave pool, lazy river, water slides and a laser tag arena. The Mulberry Fork Wildlife Management Area has over 33,000 acres of forested and mountainous terrain bordering the Black Warrior River, 24 miles west of Rock Creek. Visitors can go boating or fishing on the river, and suitably licensed hunters can stalk through the nature preserve.
