Grab dinner at Costa Vida
Residents will head to the northeast section of the neighborhood, near Highway 84 and West Overland Road, to enjoy restaurants, retail stores and entertainment venues. Stop by Costa Vida for a laid-back Mexican food restaurant serving Baja-style tacos and burritos. High marks for Southwest Boise schools
Young students will start their academic adventures at Amity Elementary, a B-graded school by Niche. The school was initially built in 1979 and was a model of construction because of its use of solar power and earth cover. It has since been rebuilt in 2018 to meet modern demands. The next stop on their educational journeys is Lake Hazel Middle School, which receives an A-minus. Lake Hazel offers student clubs and extracurricular activities like the ski and snowboard club, student council, and National Honor Society. Teenage students will attend Centennial High School, an A-minus institution that offers sports like soccer, basketball, baseball and softball. Actor Aaron Paul from the hit T.V. show Breaking Bad is a notable Centennial High alum.
Go fishing at Molennar Park
The area's main outdoor attraction is Molennar Park, featuring a vibrant blue playground, recreation fields, picnic tables, and a green oasis split by the Farmers Lateral Creek, where people will take their fishing poles and see if they can get a few bites. Take the kids to Idaho Reptile Zoo, where they can get up close and personal with lizards, snakes and other reptiles. If you have a passion for golf, this neighborhood will be on par with your expectations while offering the Indian Lakes Golf Club to the east and the Boise Ranch Golf Course to the west.

Short drive to Boise Airport
Residents will have access to the bus line that can take them into downtown Boise, but otherwise, the area is primarily car-dependent. The neighborhood could be more walkable, but commuting with a vehicle is convenient with the proximity to industrial and commercial businesses and downtown. The Boise Airport is roughly 10 miles away, so residents shouldn't be bothered by the noise while still being close.
