Luxury villas on Bolingbrook Golf Club fairways
The subdivisions west of South Weber Street make up a large portion of West Bolingbrook homes. "The home values in the area tend to go up the more west you go," says Edward Lukasik Jr., owner/broker of RE/MAX Professionals Bolingbrook and lifelong resident. "As you go west of Weber, the homes become a lot nicer.” Luxury villas with brick facades built in the mid-2000s hug the golf course. These villas often share walls and backyard spaces and may cost between $475,000 and $550,000. Single-family detached dwellings constructed in the 2020s showcase their contemporary styles and tend to have three or more bedrooms. West of Essington Road are newer subdivisions with very large Craftsman and Traditional-style houses, often with four or more bedrooms. With different shades of blue, tan or gray vinyl siding, private pools and two-car garages, these large family homes are considered a huge part of the draw to the West Bolingbrook area. They are nestled on grid-like streets tucked between growing trees and lawns. Many single-family homes cost between $525,000 and over $650,000.

Prestigious fairways, family parks, and a wildlife preserve
“River Woods used to be the prestigious place to be in town, but now it's overshadowed by the Bolingbrook Golf Club,” Lukasik says. This 18-hole championship golf course is open to the public and members, and has a putting practice green, a driving range, elevated tees and seven lakes scattered throughout the course. Bolingbrook residents can purchase different annual memberships, including a Twilight membership for those who want to play after 4 p.m. Most memberships include unlimited golf, access to their sauna and fitness center and discounts at the pro shop. For fun outside with family, River Hills Park, nestled between residential homes near River Hills Lane, has a playground and plush green lawn for games of soccer. Prairie Trails Park, next to Liberty Elementary School, has tennis courts, a jungle gym, swings and soccer fields.
