Lush greenery and brand new amenities in Venetian Isles
Venetian Isles provides privacy and exclusive amenities 11 miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean. The guard-gated 55-plus community offers a resort-style feel, with homes surrounded by tropical greenery and serene waterfront views. “It’s an extremely friendly community,” says Howard Goldberg, Realtor with the Keyes Company and Venetian Isles resident. “I came from The Motor City, Detroit, and I’ll tell you, the people here couldn’t be nicer. There are six sections in Venetian Isles, and they all have their own little community within the community. They’re all intertwined, though, and people always walk and bike around or ride golf carts down the road.”
Spanish-influenced homes with waterfront views
Venetian Isles is home to two-to-four-bedroom single-family residences and townhouses in the Terranova sub-community. The uniform architectural style of the neighborhood is Spanish Eclectic, featuring stucco siding, barrel-roof tiles and arches, accentuating the community’s South Florida vibe. Houses not situated on the neighborhood’s small ponds and lakes range from $389,000 to $500,000. Larger homes with waterfront views on the back end of the properties are priced higher, from $520,000 to $689,000. “As for added costs, homeowners association fees in many 55-plus communities are generally $500 to $800, and we are on the low end of that,” says Goldberg. Those fees cover cable, internet, in-home security systems, lawn maintenance and access to the common areas.
Renovated clubhouse for community connection
With a lively community comes a calendar booked with club meetings, classes and activities. The newly renovated Venetian Isles Clubhouse is the neighborhood’s centerpiece for connection and amenities. Goldberg says the much-anticipated renovations to the clubhouse include a restaurant on the top floor and a rooftop sports bar. “These are things you don’t see in communities of this price range, or even some of the high-end ones,” he adds. There’s also plenty for residents to do outdoors, with tennis and pickleball courts, an Olympic-sized pool and a jacuzzi. Golfers will have plenty of nearby courses to choose from, including Links at Boynton Beach Golf and Aberdeen Golf and Country Club, each within 5.5 miles of the neighborhood. The former is public and has an 18-hole course and 9-hole course, while the latter is private with an 18-hole course, pools, a fitness center and more.
Shopping centers cluster along Boynton Beach Boulevard
Venetian Isles is conveniently located when it comes to running errands or taking day trips outside of the community. “We are off Lyons Road, one of the main roads, and we’re nearby Boynton Beach Boulevard, where there are a ton of restaurants,” says Goldberg. Traveling 2.5 miles south along Lyons Road to Boynton Beach Boulevard will lead to Canyon Town Center, which has a Publix for grocery essentials. An eclectic mix of eateries is also housed within the small shopping complex, including Nicoletta’s Restaurant & Pizzeria, where locals can eat authentic Italian dishes on the covered outdoor patio adorned with string lights, heaters and a small fireplace. Souvlaki GR is another favorite among residents of Venetian Isles. The interior of the Greek restaurant has been designed to mimic the European country's limestone homes and cobblestone streets. "Everything west of Military Trail was all really built up in the last 20 years. There used to be nothing around here—that’s not the case anymore," Goldberg says.
Getting around Boynton Beach
While Venetian Isles is walkable, residents are primarily car-dependent, with one- to two-car garages attached to the homes. Boynton Beach Boulevard is a lifeline for many things, including public transit, retail, restaurants and medical care. Several Palm Tran bus stops line the thoroughfare, along with Baptist Health Bethesda Hospital West, less than 3 miles from Venetian Isles. Locals can also drive less than 8.5 miles east along the roadway to reach the heart of Boynton Beach. Interstate 95 is also nearby, giving locals access to West Palm Beach and Palm Beach International Airport, each within 20 miles.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
