Waterfront community close to Puget Sound Naval shipyard

Sheridan Park sits on the shore of the Port of Washington Narrows, peering out toward the Olympic Mountains. The water flows between the community and its southern neighbor, Bremerton. “Sheridan Park is a great spot for someone who works at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Downtown Bremerton since it’s a good distance to where you could bicycle to work,” says Jeri Coleman, a broker with Skyline Properties Inc., who has sold real estate in Washington for over 20 years. Green spaces separate streets of single-family and multifamily homes from apartment and condo developments, all in proximity to the outdoors.

Waterfront parks, p-patch gardens and Stephenson Canyon

Lent Landing’s open space and gazebo sit adjacent to Lions Park, overlooking Port Washington Narrow’s deep blue water. “Lions Park is an attractive neighborhood feature with a beach and ballfields where softball tournaments and other youth sports are held if you want to sit and watch,” Coleman says. Under a mile loop path traces the park’s perimeter, encompassing all the fields, picnic shelters, a playground with orca climbing structures and a zipline. Nearby, Blueberry Park’s almost 7 acres include a nature-themed playground and a community P-Patch garden, which began as an organic gardening program in Seattle. Stephenson Canyon spans 28 acres with over a mile of trail woven through its woods.
