A suburb in Perry Township

Nestled in the Canton suburbs is Reedurban, a Perry Township neighborhood only a few miles from the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Sippo Lake and the McKinley Presidential Library. Trees and shrubs dot the planned residential streets, which also offer wide sidewalks and well-maintained lawns. Local dining spots like Menches Brothers of Perry give Reedurban a lived-in community feel. "What's nice is that the area is all Perry Township, and it's not within Massillon or Canton city limits, which is great for tax purposes,” says Jaren Fink, a Realtor at RE/MAX Infinity and area native.

Bungalows at a bargain

Homes in Reedurban are located in planned residential grids and the occasional cul-de-sac. A variety of trees and plant life blanket the neighborhood and line the roads, giving the area a more nature-immersed feel. Many homes here have paved driveways and attached garages, so street parking isn’t common. Two-story bungalows and ranch-style single-family homes dominate the neighborhood, with some colonial influence seen in classic central entryways and symmetrical accents. Homes range in price between $100,000 to $220,000 on average. "Homes in Perry are one of the few bargains you can still get,” says Fink. “House prices are low, taxes are low— you can get a really nice house for under $300,000 in this area.”
