A "hiking and cabin mecca"
The hilly topography of Cascade-Chipita Park is lined with small and big cabin-style homes. People in the neighborhood value living in the mountains and all the activities that come with it. “This is a hiking and cabin mecca,” explains Todd Zeller, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker 1st Choice Realty, Inc. He has sold homes in the area for eight years. He adds that residents in the area also fish and mountain bike in their spare time. The shadowed valley makes for a perfect backdrop for outdoor activities. “This area is popular for second homes,” Zeller says.
There are homes located on bluffs that provide amazing views in the Cascade-Chiptia Park area.

Lots of cabins

Zeller says several residents in the community value their privacy. He adds that the older properties tend to be as big as some of the newer cabin builds. Most streetscapes lack sidewalks, but the lush greenery makes up for it. Zeller says aspen and pine trees are predominant. The region attracts several visitors and has many resorts for tourists, including Rock Creek Haven and Rocky Top Motel & Campground.

Additionally, there are over ten medical facilities in Colorado Springs. North Pole – Santa’s Workshop opened in 1956 and is a Christmas-themed amusement park open from May through Christmas Eve.
