A storybook neighborhood
Hidden Valley might seem like a neighborhood straight out of a fairytale, and that’s not just in reference to its aptly named streets such as Cinderella Road and Snow White Lane. The community also offers picturesque, midcentury split level and ranch-style homes and neighbors with the cordiality of Disney characters. With regular events to enjoy, including neighborhood clean-ups and an October festival with arts and crafts to raise money for the Hidden Valley Community Association, many residents truly find themselves at home here.

Homeowners keep Hidden Valley beautiful
Most of Hidden Valley’s homes are single-family dwellings and follow ranch-style, split-level or Colonial Revival designs. Established homes date back to 1959, when the neighborhood was first developed, though many others were built in the ‘60s and ‘70s. Prices usually range from $200,000 to $310,000. Newer constructions and duet-style condos from 2020 and later tend to sell for around $370,000, and sometimes quickly. “Properties in this area with desirable proximity to the University area are selling really quickly,” says Landon Albrick, Realtor with The Albrick Group who has been selling homes in Charlotte for 7 years. Albrick has also lived in The Queen City since he was 6. Wherever a homebuyer is looking in Hidden Valley, they can expect to find well-cared-for homes, mature trees and sidewalks. Through the Rebuilding Together Greater Charlotte program, elderly residents can get home repairs done for free. The Hidden Valley Community Association also awards beautification prizes to homeowners who do an exceptional job keeping their homes.
