Toddville Road is growing wildly with new homes sprouting throughout

A Charlotte community amid a sprinkling of small ponds and creeks, Toddville Road offers simple suburban living just 5 miles outside of the Queen City. With Charlotte being one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States, the area's significant population increase has extended into Toddville Road. Newly constructed homes are taking root throughout the community, while more established residences continue to set the tone for the area's identity. Though shopping and dining options are sparse, proximity to the city has house hunters herding to Toddville Road in droves.

Established homes mix in with newer properties in Mulberry Pond

Toddville Road's hilly, tree-shaded streets offer a blend of newer builds alongside homes constructed as early as the 1940s. Older ranch-style and split-level homes are abundant throughout the community, though larger contemporary properties dominate the Mulberry Pond subdivision. Most residences price between $200,000 and $350,000, but fully renovated homes can range from $400,000 to $500,000. "We don't see our prices dropping here. Our inventory is tight, and people are continuing to move to Charlotte for job opportunities and a new way of life, which keeps the market forecast very positive," says local Realtor Patty Rainey of Corcoran HM Properties, who has been working in real estate for over 15 years.

This area isn't far from downtown and there are already new developments in place that are going to improve the value of this area. Buying a home in this area will be great because in the next few years, the home will be worth more. I would definitely live here again if given the chance .

It's not really a bad place even though sometimes there are people who are too loud at night.
