Trails of Countryside is a suburban oasis amid Clearwater's action

Trails of Countryside sits in Clearwater’s northernmost point, not far from the city’s white sandy beaches. These beaches attract tourists and snowbirds every year, drawn to the clear ocean water, the golf courses, the shopping and the dining. While close to all those amenities, Trails of Countryside is fully residential and has a tranquil, suburban feel. “It’s kind of like an oasis,” says Rimma Pennington, a real estate agent with Great Homes Realty who sells throughout Clearwater and the surrounding areas. “You’re removed from all the tourists and the beach traffic; you get more land and mature trees. But at the same time, you’re so close to downtown, the beaches, and Tampa.”

Ranch-style and new traditional-style homes are common

Two- and three-bedroom ranch-style homes built between 1960 and 1970 are the most common in the community, ranging in price from $280,000 to $525,000. A growing number of new traditional styles built after 2020 are becoming available, with four and five bedrooms, ranging in price from about $800,000 to nearly $1 million. Some of these newer homes sit in the gated Aspen Trail section. Front lawns are neat and landscaped—thanks to the neighborhood’s HOA—and backyards often feature pools encased in glass cages.
