Sitting on the northern edge of Davis County is the small town of Clinton, settled in 1879. Renters who wish to become homeowners or families searching for their dream homes have options here, where big houses sell for lower price points. “Families finally ready to take the leap and buy the big house they’ve always envisioned for themselves move to Clinton,” says Sloane Peterson, an Associate Broker with Ridgeline Realty. “Most families stay here for at least seven years, because they’re buying homes that give them room to grow throughout various seasons of life. It’s also a popular spot for those who don’t want to hear jets fly over from Hill Air Force Base.” First-time homeowners and families ready to upgrade know they’ll get more bang for their buck in Clinton.
