The homes of Broadleigh
The main attraction in Broadleigh is its affordable housing prices, according to Wellington Lyman, owner, agent and principal broker at Reafco Real Estate. “You can find a single-family home for under $200,000," says Lyman. "For that, you get a lot of house—sometimes over 1,500 square feet.” The homes of Broadleigh come in the form of Cape Cod, New Traditional and ranch-style homes built in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Most have modest front yards home and one-car driveways, and established sidewalks line most of the streets. Those looking to purchase a home in the community can expect a price range from $140,000 for a two-bedroom home to $370,000 for a larger, recently updated house.

The greens of Columbus Country Club
Just a 2.3-mile drive away from Broadleigh is Columbus Country Club. “It’s great for networking if you’re in sales and have a lot of clients,” Lyman says. “They also have great tennis courts, a par-three golf course for the kids, and a pool. That’s my favorite.” Those looking to get outside minus the golf clubs head to Jeffrey Park, situated on the east side of Alum Creek.
