Not only is the city of Coral Springs celebrating its 60th anniversary, but Coral Springs Lakes is also attracting homebuyers precisely because of the decisions made by its developers 60 years ago. The homes of Coral Springs Lakes

The residential streets of Coral Springs Lakes reveal a quiet community sprinkled with tall palm trees and backyard ponds. Landscaped medians in the center of cul-de-sacs match the modest landscaping seen in the yards of each home. Ranch-style homes, some of which are Spanish-influenced, were built in the 1970s, with many featuring private pools and outdoor living spaces for entertaining. These homes sit on the higher end of the community’s price range, between $1 million and $3 million. “There are no associations or restrictions on remodeling or additions,” says Kyle Belanger, a realtor with LoKation Real Estate and founder of KB Premier Group. “They want to be able to add on, and they do, sometimes by putting up completely new luxury homes.” In addition, homebuyers with a more moderate budget will find condos and townhouses for sale in the $350,000 range, while single-family homes and duplexes range in price from $600,000 to $750,000.
