Established neighborhood with renovated homes near popular attractions
Just steps away from two of the most popular recreation destinations in the city, the White Rock Hills neighborhood is a highly desirable part of Dallas. “It’s a very, very popular neighborhood,” says Edwina Dye, a Realtor with Ebby Halliday Realtors. “If you go down St. Francis Avenue, you’re right at White Rock Lake. And then, you’ve got the Arboretum and St. Francis Park. It’s a wonderful neighborhood.” The local attractions, friendly neighbors and ranch-style homes combine to make White Rock Hills a sought-after location for homebuyers. “It’s an all-around great neighborhood,” says Liz Renfro, a Realtor with William Davis Realty and longtime resident. “People here look out for each other.”

Ranch-style and new-traditional homes on tree-shaded streets
White Rock Hills is an established neighborhood with many homes built in the 1960s. These are primarily ranch-style houses that have been renovated to include new roofs, refinished floors and updated bathrooms. The natural beauty of White Rock Lake and the Dallas Arboretum extends to White Rock Hills, where mature shade trees line the neighborhood streets and front lawns burst with bright shades of green during the spring and summer. Dye says she frequently sees residents walking through the neighborhood, and the sidewalks make it easy to get around. Ranch-style homes have sold for between $130,000 and $675,000. "It is an excellent, first-time homebuyer neighborhood," says Summer Graham, a Realtor with Compass. "It's very affordable."
