Located on the west side of Davie, the neighborhood comprises various housing communities, like the namesake Rexmere Village, with different types of housing and community amenities bringing neighbors together. The neighborhood is bordered to the north by Interstate 595, a major east-west route that makes it easy to get to Fort Lauderdale, just 13 miles away. Locals have a wealth of shopping options at the Sawgrass Mills Mall, located only five miles north. "I-595 will get you to wherever you need to go because it connects to the Sawgrass Expressway and Interstate 95," says Adrian Marrero, Realtor with Xtreme International Realty, located in the Rexmere Village area. "That's why Davie has a great location; it's right in the middle."
Manufactured homes, townhouses and mansions
Rexmere Village is a community of manufactured homes from the '80s through today, typically around 1,600 to 2,000 square feet. Prices range from about $73,000 for older properties to around $250,000 for newer models on the water. Many have driveways and carports big enough to shelter one car and screened-in porches to help avoid mosquitos.
