Extravagant shopping and luxury homes
Cherry Creek offers a commercial center for the community, offering over 300 businesses, including art shops, restaurants and the largest collection of locally owned retailers in the city in a bustling district between University Boulevard and Adams Street. This tight-knit community hosts some of Colorado’s most exciting annual events. In an accessible location only a few miles from Denver’s most desired excursions, Cherry Creek is one of the hottest neighborhoods in the city. Before becoming part of Denver in 1895, Cherry Creek was an impoverished town known as Harman and home to many of the area’s earliest African American homesteaders. In the 1930s, it became a landfill. By the '90s, it was clear that Cherry Creek was growing into a wealthy center of commerce with extravagant shopping, fine dining and luxury homes.

Arts Festival and the Fresh Market
“There is the Cherry Creek Arts Festival every summer, which is one of the premier arts festivals in Colorado. It’s huge. They have art vendors all throughout the streets,” says Christine Belin, a Denver local and Broker Associate at Evernest, LLC, with over 10 years of experience. “They also have a great farmers market all summer long in the parking lot of the mall.” An essential summer staple of community culture, the festival features live music and outdoor art galleries at Cherry Creek North. Proceeds from the festival benefit the city’s arts curriculum in education. The neighborhood's Fresh Market is a Saturday event with locally grown produce and food from local businesses. Residents visit the Sidewalk Sale to look for pop-up stands outside storefronts adorned with red balloons, marking discounted prices from retailers to prepare for a new autumn inventory. The Holiday Market is a winter craft fair where the community rings in the season at the Cherry Creek Shopping Center.
