Small suburban neighborhood with highway access
A suburban community in the heart of Dover, Mayfair features wide sidewalks and a canopy of mature trees that shade its manicured lawns and 20th-century homes. “Mayfair is more of an established neighborhood. As far as new buyers, we tend to see a lot of first-time homebuyers, but there are families that have been there forever,” says Marcus Rush, a Realtor with the Rush Home team at Compass Real Estate. “It’s not too far from U.S. Route 13, which offers access to shopping, dining and really everything that Dover has to offer.” With proximity to major thoroughfares, Mayfair offers a quiet residential enclave less than 3 miles from historic downtown Dover.
