Silver Lake has access to a WinCo Foods and a handful of fast-food outlets along State Route 527. The Everett Mall, one of Snohomish County’s main shopping centers, also borders the neighborhood. I would say we don't have a lot of crime in the area. There have been a few breaks in in our neiborhood when people were away on vacation. Our next door neighbors sell products via eBay and Craig's list out of their house and they have had a couple breakins. Other then that, it's pretty safe.
