"There’s a mix of homes here,” says Trstensky. “You have older homes and mini-mansions, so whatever type of home you’re looking for you can find here.” The neighborhood includes ranch-style homes from the mid-1900s, priced between $550,000 and $700,000, and colonial revival homes with front porches and modest lots, ranging from $700,000 to $850,000. The newer part of Pumptown features large modern estates, most built within the last five years, that feature stone accents, open floorplans, and half-acre lots starting at $1.5 million. Townhouses near the Peter J. Barnes III Wildlife Preserve are also available, priced between $370,000 and $475,000.

"It's absolutely a part of what makes the area appealing to many families."
