I am only a highschool student so I can't really say much about housing. I can say that the schools are pretty good and the job opportunities are great as well. I work at the local grocers and it's a decent job.

It is a very nice area. There are multiple parks around and the area always looks nice. The people I have met there are generally kind and considerate of others. I wish it would stop getting bigger because the town is invading the farming area.

Currently Im a senior attending North Scott High School in Eldridge Iowa. I personally have positive thoughts about my school. They have given me many opportunities to succeed in the present and helped prepare me for what's outside of high school. A big thing for me is safety and I can say I feel very safe in Eldridge. To add to that we have a low crime rate. Another thing that I love about Eldridge is the community. It's truly one of the best communities. There are so many acts of service and kindness found in this town. We are friendly to out neighbors and help each other out. That's what makes our community so great. However, I do feel that we don't have enough diversity. This is something that I don't like about my town. I'm hopeful that in the future Eldridges diversity will expand.

As a teenager, it is easy to find part time jobs while I am in school. For adults they would probably have to go out of town.
