Suburban community with a small-town touch
Within the city of Englewood, Bellewood provides its residents with a classic suburban atmosphere and access to both the Mile High City and the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Seven miles south of downtown Denver, the neighborhood is close enough to have a handleable commute and far enough away to leave the noise and the stress of the city behind each evening. “It’s a really nice slice of a more manageable, more suburban kind of community,” says Jeffrey Harris, Broker Associate with LoKation Real Estate and lifelong resident of Englewood. “You aren’t giving up access to Denver and all the big employers in the area, but you’re in a quieter spot that has a little bit more of a neighborly feel to it.”
Small homes with covered patios are here in Bellewood.
Bellewood is less than eight miles to Downtown Denver.

Vintage homes with modern updates lend a unique style to the neighborhood
Many homes in the area were built between the 1950s and 1960s, lending it a vintage charm reflected across various ranch-style and bungalow homes throughout the neighborhood. Many of these homes feature recent updates that maintain their original character. “You’re seeing a lot of original homes in the neighborhood being updated and made more modern,” says Harris. “And there’s a bit of new construction as well, so it’s a nice balance of the old-school style with the new.” Home prices start at around $450,000 for bungalows and established ranch-styles, while more modern examples can reach up to $700,000. Custom and new traditional two-story homes are also available and range from $700,000 to $900,000.

Englewood High prepares the leaders of tomorrow at its Englewood Leadership Academy
Elementary students can begin at Cherrelyn Elementary, which earns a C rating from Niche. The school is in the neighborhood and is walkable for many. Students can then move on to fellow C-rated Englewood Middle School before finishing up at B-minus-rated Englewood High School.
