Less than 2 miles north, the 215-acre Buffalo Park sits on top of the mesa and offers over 2 miles of trails that connect to the 50-mile Flagstaff Urban Trail System, which runs throughout the city. Buffalo Park's high elevation allows for sweeping mountain views, and its lack of light pollution makes it ideal for stargazing. “Unless you’re right on the periphery of the mesa, you wouldn't even know you're right in the middle of a city of around 100,000 people,” says area resident Eric Jensen, a Realtor with Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty.
