Golfers have no issues finding a course in the area as countless public and private courses are nearby. “It’s one of the best neighborhoods in Flower Mound,” Beca says. “It’s very family-friendly.”

Every Friday during the summer, residents pack into Heritage Park for free live music performances as part of the town's Concerts in the Park series. Come the morning of July 4th; there’s a Children’s Parade that is concluded with free food, drinks and activities for the kids. Later in the day, residents attend Independence Fest, which has live music, a car show and other entertainment. It finishes off with a fireworks show when the sun goes down.

There is a collection of golf courses near Bella Lago, whether for business or personal use. Country Clubs nearby include the Trophy Club, the Vaquero Club and the Lantana Golf Club. As for public courses, Tour 18 is unique as it has holes throughout its course that replicate some of professional golf’s most renowned holes. “Tour 18 has a couple holes from Augusta and Pinehurst,” Vibral says. “It’s really cool.” The Cowboys Golf Club is the only NFL-themed golf course in the world. Other public courses include Grapevine Golf Course and Bridlewood Golf Club, which also has memberships for those who want round discounts.
