Weisenberg Park is where locals can watch local baseball leagues compete on the baseball field. Weisenberg Fields features four multipurpose athletic fields and a pavilion for small gatherings.

Giovanni’s Pizza is where locals can stop by for some pizza. The Giovanni Special Pizza is made with chicken steak, ham, hot peppers, mozzarella and black peppers. DeMarco’s Italian Restaurant is a popular eatery with locals. At DeMarco’s, locals can hang out on the patio over drinks and one of their pies. Every Wednesday is all-you-can-eat spaghetti. The cheesesteak is also a local favorite. New Smithville Diner is a popular restaurant for breakfast. Whether locals order French toast or omelets, they are always satisfied. Residents can commute five miles to the Lehigh Hills Shopping Center, where they can grocery shop at Weis. For a staycation, locals can stay at the Glasbern, a historic hotel, whose property has been around since 1787. In 1985, the owners renovated the property into a country inn. What was once just 16 acres is now 150 acres that feature pastures, ponds and cozy lodging. It is also a popular spot for weddings and other special events.
