A suburban feel with a nature preserve in Fort Collins

In Prospect at Spring Meadows, residents stroll from cul-de-sacs of townhouses and ranch-style homes down sidewalk paths leading to a woodsy nature preserve. The park is part of many people’s daily routines and surrounds one of Fort Collins’ main bike trails — Spring Creek Trail. “The main draw for my buyer was the nice walking path along the water there,” says Realtor Lori Smith who works with First Colorado Realty and has almost two decades of experience in the area. This slice of everyday life may look like it belongs in the suburbs, but Prospect at Spring Meadows is a city neighborhood only a mile east of bustling retail. The area appeals to those who want a suburban vibe only minutes away from bustling Old Town and Colorado State University.
