Grants to rebuild the area with churches and schools within
Once with a historical designation by the city of Fort Worth, the neighborhood of Stop Six Sunrise Edition is still part of the greater Stop Six area of the city. Once the sixth stop on the streetcar system, Stop Six as a whole was created about 1896 by African American settler Amanda Davis. Consisting of Parkside to the east, the neighborhood has larger lots in comparison to the rest of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Within the neighborhood are several churches, as well as schools for each grade level in the eastern portion. The middle and high schools actually sit across from each other, with Bunche Park separating the two. “There are a lot of grants,” says Missy Starling, a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Realty who has been in the real estate business for over 20 years. “Fort Worth is basically trying to rebuild the area. But the buyer has to qualify, has to make certain median income levels to get that grant.” The neighborhood has a crime score of 6 on the CAP Index, with higher scores in the violent crimes section.
Buses along Berry and Stalcup with interstate to the east
There are two buses, Routes 024 and 055, operated by Trinity Metro, that follow East Berry Street before turning north on Stalcup Road. Both buses come through every 30 minutes on weekdays. Acting as the eastern border of the neighborhood, Interstate 820—also known as Loop 820—makes a half arc around the northern sections of Fort Worth.
Interstates 820 and 287 Fort Worth connect Stop Six Sunrise Edition to Downtown Fort Worth.

Prices can range from $199,000 for a home built in 2006 and $225,000 for a home built in 1958 that has undergone a complete renovation. For new construction, prices range from $299,000 to $334,999.
