It’s also affordable due to its blend of homes, from first-time home buyers to high-end homes.” Some attractive recreational options, including prominent golf courses, surround the neighborhood. “You are kind of socked between a bunch of different country clubs in West Byers,” Olsen says. “They are the premier spots for golfing.“ The convenience doesn’t stop there. Locals enjoy being close to various dining options and the Ridgmar Mall.

As residents walk down the sidewalks on the gridded streets of West Byers, they’ll be shaded in spots by large trees, some of which overhang the road. While lots are small and quaint, they are well landscaped as residents take pride in their home’s exterior. Homes here range from bungalows with spacious front porches and ranches with a southwestern flair to large two-story new-traditional dwellings, with some coming with a Tudor spin. Homes here have sold for between $350,000 for a 2-bedroom bungalow to $950,000 for a 4-bedroom French-influenced new-traditional home. Townhouses are also available in West Byers and have sold for around $500,000. “The market is super strong,” Olsen says. “Especially since you have such a wide span of different types of homes.”

Students attend the Fort Worth Independent School District
Residents in West Byers may send their children to the Fort Worth Independent School District, which earns a B-minus grade from Niche. Starting in Pre-K, children may attend Mary Louise Phillips Elementary School before moving on to Monnig Middle School for sixth through eighth grade. Both schools earn a C-plus grade from Niche.
