A planned subdivision in Northwest Gainesville
Capri, located in Northwest Gainesville, is a sought-after resort-style neighborhood known for its amenities and well-maintained homes. The planned development includes a community center with exclusive recreational facilities. The Capri homeowners association is managed by the Emmer Development Corporation. Many also move to the area because of its proximity to the University of Florida, public parks and shopping. "This part of town gives you a little more, compared to other cities that aren't in a metro area," says Rocky Lyon, an Alachua County resident and local Realtor with Pepine Realty. "Also, some people want a break from traffic that's closer to campus."
